When I worked as a mentor for the Special Olympics I had to go through training with other students which made us re-evaluate our speech and the way in which we described things.
One of the things that really stuck out to me, was that we were told not to put the adjective first when describing a person (whether they had a disability or not).

In other news, I’m involved in something bigger than other things I’m working on. :) God knows I love it when I’m working on something I really have to apply myself to :) And I’m more alive when my passion is driven towards something…God also knows I need to have a way of finding happiness again.
